Following the confirmed the assault on an Arlington National Cemetary female guard by Trump administration officials, some people are calling the act of violence "weird".
J.D. Vance has spoken out against the criticisms of the assault, "if you think it's [weird to assault a guard whose sworn duty is protecting the graves of war heroes], YOU'RE weird!"
The US Army released a statement saying the employee was "unfairly attacked" after Republican former president honored fallen soldiers earlier this week.

Black Queen Kamala Harris has spoken out against the assault on the Arlington guard in a diplomatic and well mannered tone, to which J.D. Vance retorted in his faux Appalachian accent she should "go to hell, in the name of Jesus".
This isn't Trump's first controversy at a graveyard honoring fallen war heroes. In 2018, when staff attempted to schedule him to a WWII cemetery, Trump replied, “why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed. Let's be honest, he has a point there.
